The ‘Old Market’ House
The ‘Old Market’ House, originally a longtime bustling meat market for the area, is a restored stand-alone building on the property known as ‘Cabin Run Farm’. This site is a solid block construction and has been meticulously redesigned and restored to function in a formal business setting at the present time.
Water from the main house has yet to be redirected to the building, however, the building has been plumbed for the eventuality of water, if so desired. The recent restoration plans included the following; Pergo 30+ year laminate flooring in both rooms, a fully tiled floor in the bathroom, a full bathroom with shower, handicapped toilet, a custom vanity, and a high efficiency water heater. There is a dedicated space for a kitchenette in the larger of the two rooms. A high efficiency water heater, housed in its own closet, is ready when water is brought into the building. The electric service and other working electronics for the site are also isolated in their own space.
The restored building has a new, independent electrical service, an ADT security and fire system, and an independently monitored surveillance system. The building has been insulated to higher than suggested levels of efficiency, and the structure can be accessed by two entrances, one being a ramp.
The rooms of this lovely space are made comfortable by the installation of central heat and air. In addition, there is a propane furnace. The Old Market House enjoys a new standing seam black metal roof, accented with a custom-built cupola.
This wonderful building is a ‘work from home’ private space! The interior space is WIFI capable, landline capable, and is only a short walk across the driveway from the main house. The block construct building is completely versatile and could be utilized as a lovely rental home for additional income or a caretaker’s home. The space could also house an ‘at home’ gym and game room, a storage building, or as previously suggested; a private space for your own ‘work from home’ office. With ownership of this property comes endless possibilities with this beautifully restored structure.
The Double Eagle Garage
Custom Built 4 Car Garage with Upstairs Bonus Room
A wide concrete driveway leads a welcoming path to this spacious, four-car, custom-built garage, built in 2002. The building is replete with water plumbed to the outside of the building, an installed ADT security system, surveillance system coverage, and its own independent electrical service, with buried cables.
The building has two side door entrances and an interior stairwell to the bonus room on the top level. The bonus room has four new windows installed, two at each end.
